Getting people to take centre stage is no easy task, so I was really pleased to see we had 3 willing volunteers. It takes courage and vulnerability to put yourself in front of a camera and hit record, especially when it's out of your comfort zone. I'd like to say they did a fantastic job!
The dynamic among the presenters provided support and their ability to engage with and share ideas with each other was invaluable in reducing any nerves. While I offered the option of using an autocue (teleprompter system), they opted out, confident in their deep understanding of the subject matter. This choice highlighted their expertise and authenticity.
We focused on several key shots:
1. A wide front shot showcasing all three speakers, allowing the audience to connect with the team.
2. A close-up of the current speaker to emphasise their points and convey emotion.
3. An angled shot from the left for a dynamic perspective.
4. An angled shot from the right to create visual variety.
5. Incorporation of PowerPoint slides to reinforce their messages and engage viewers. Â
I look forward to the opportunity to continue developing engaging videos with them in the future. Have a look at the finished video…
